58-yr-old man sans travel history dies of COVID-19 in Birgunj

BIRGUNJ: One more person has died of coronavirus pandemic in Birgunj.

According to District Administration Office, Parsa, a 58-year-old male of Birgunj-26, Birta died in the course of treatment at Birgunj Health Care Hospital on Friday night.

After finding the male suffering from coronavirus-like symptoms, his swab was collected on August 20 and the report that came on August 5 showed him coronavirus positive.

When the man developed further respiratory  hazards, he was admitted to intensive care unit (ICU) of Birgunj Health Care Hospital on Thursday.

Later he was put on ventilator but could not overcome the pandemic and breathed  his last on Friday night.

The district administration office informed that the male had no travel history.
