COVID-19 death toll crosses 113,000 in Brazil



KATHMANDU:  More than 113,000 people have died from coronavirus in Brazil in the past seven months.

Until the filing of this story on Saturday, the number of deaths from the coronavirus has reached 113,454 after 1,031 people died in a single day.

With 31,391 infection cases in the past 24 hours, the number of infection cases has reached 3,536,488 in the country.

Likewise, 2,670,755 people have recovered from the virus while 752,279 are currently undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country.

Brazil is the second worst-hit country in the world in terms of coronavirus cases after America.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances, killing 802,950 and infecting 23,106,464 people globally.
