Hamro Patro warns public against fraudulence under it’s name



KATHMANDU: Hamro Patro, an aggregator, has expressed its concern over the rumors that some people have been using its name and collecting money promising to help their news getting enlisted on Hamro Patro portal.

Issuing a statement on Wednesday, Hamro Patro has clarified that it levies no money from the media outlets to get their news enlisted in Hamro Patro network as its against the ethics Hamro Patro stands for.

“We take no charge from the media outlets to get their news enlisted and we have not employed anyone for marketing promising to enlist certain news,” the statement reads.

“But for the Founder President Shanker Upreti and Managing Director Santosh Kumar Devkota, there is no third person appointed to deal on behalf of Hamro Patro,” the statement has clarified.

The portal has requested to contact Santosh Kumar Devkota for any queries related to marketing and inform the police if someone else comes to collect or claim amount on behalf of Hamro Patro.

It has further clarified that Hamro Patro Inc. or Smart Ideas Pvt. Ltd. cannot be held accountable if someone else claims to be part of its team and collect money.

Hamro Patro has requested all valued customers and viewers to keep away with the frauds coming to collect money under Hamro Patro’s name or banner.
