NCP senior leader Nepal says individualistic attitude not acceptable

KATHMANDU: Senior leader of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged party leaders and cadres not to be distracted with the current ‘difficult’ situation within the party.

Issuing a statement on Wednesday to mark the 42nd death anniversary of CPN founder Pushpa Lal Shrestha, senior leader Nepal, without taking Prime Minister KP Oli’s name, expressed sarcasm for his belief that the party and the country would suffer bad times in his absence.

Senior leader Nepal said the party needs to move ahead on the basis of collective leadership, not an individual one.

He said that the party has come to the current state despite hurdles and the bitter reality of the communist movement.

Nepal also urged one and all to raise their voices against anyone who believes on individualistic attitude.
