KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) senior leader Madhav Nepal has called on one and all to get united against the individualistic attitude in politics.

Issuing a press note on Wednesday morning on the occasion of 42nd Memorial Day of communist leader Pushpa Lal Shrestha, leader Nepal said all honest leaders and cadres should stand united to fight against the non-communist attitudes in politics.

“The individualistic attitude that does not regard the views of other people and the thinking that the party will not run in my absence had split the party in the past,” said Nepal, adding, “All the cadres and leaders of the party should stand united even today against such attitudes for the sake of the party.”

Nepal has claimed that the NCP brought historic changes in the country due to the political ideology established by leader Pushpa Lal.

Meanwhile, leader Nepal has urged all the cadres and leaders to follow footsteps shown by founder General Secretary Pushpa Lal to further institutionalize and bolster the NCP.
