Power outage in these places of Kathmandu on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has said that there will be a power outage at various places in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

According to NEA Information Officer Leela Aryal, the power supply will be cut off due to the need to replace dilapidated poles.

The NEA notice said, “The line distributed from the Ganeshthan feeder of Maharajgunj Distribution Center will be cut off on Tuesday as the dilapidated poles of high tension line of Budhanilkantha Municipality-2, Ganesh Chowk have to be replaced.”

According to NEA, there will be a power cut from 12 noon to 5 pm in Ghumti, Dhapasi, Chasintol, Hattigaunda, Baluwadipo, Hepali and other areas under the feeder.

NEA has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the customers and said that the line will be operational before the scheduled time if the work is completed before the stipulated time.
