Nasal swab collected from 165 persons including Chief Minister



SURKHET: The nasal swab has been collected from 165 people including Chief Minister of Karnali State, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, ministers, state assembly members and other staff.

The swab was collected in view of the State Assembly meeting scheduled for May 24.

Nasal swab of Chief Minister Shahi, Economic Affairs and Planning Minister, Prakash Jwala, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Naresh Bhandari, Social Development Minister Dal Rawal, among others was collected, said Chief of Health Service Office, Chetan Nidhi Wagle.

Similarly, the nasal swab of security personnel, drivers and some media persons was also collected to test via PCR method to find if anyone has got the coronavirus infection.

Saying only chief ministers, state ministers and state assembly members would get entry in the meeting hall, he stated that the audiovisual of the meeting would however be displayed outside the meeting hall for media persons, employees of ministries and other persons. Everyone entering the State Assembly has to wear masks and gloves.
