Lightning kills 2 in Dhading



DHADING: Two people died after being struck by lightning at Baluwakharka in Thakre rural municipality-3 in the district on Monday night.

The deceased have been identified as Sagar Aryal, 24, and Sanuman Tamang, 50.

The seriously injured breathed their last while being rushed to  Kathmandu for treatment, said DSP Rupak Khadka of District Police Office, Dhading.

Another injured is undergoing treatment at National Trauma Center in Kathmandu while the other four women and two men are receiving treatment at a local health post.

The incident site is four hours’ walk from Mahadebbensi of Prithvi Highway.
