28 Nepalis stranded in Delhi over COVID-19 testing arriving today

KATHMANDU: Twenty-eight Nepalis stranded in New Delhi after missing their flight due to coronavirus screening are arriving in Nepal today (Saturday).

They missed their flight of Air India in New Delhi in the course of undergoing a security and long screening process after they landed in New Delhi from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Preparations have been made to airlift them to Kathmandu this morning, said Nepal Embassy in New Delhi.

“An arrangement has been made to bring them to Kathmandu by a regular flight of Air India on Saturday morning,” said Deputy Chief of Mission of Nepali Embassy in New Delhi, Bharat Kumar Regmi.
