CM Poudel stresses on conservation of religion, culture



HETAUDA: Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Poudel has stressed on conservation of religion and culture.

He said that Maha Shivaratri is a strong example of caste-based, geographical and communal integration.

According to him, it is necessary to realize that Lord Shiva who was originated in the mountain is highly worshiped by devotees in the plains and the Buddha born in the Terai is followed by the mountain people and this presents a strong example of caste-based, geographical and communal adjustment.

He also stated that it was the responsibility of all to protect and promote our religions, culture and customs, the things which unite society.
