Foreign Minister Gyawali expresses sadness over death of Indian tourists in Nepal



KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has expressed his sadness over the death of eight Indian tourists in Nepal.

“Deeply shocked to learn about the death of eight Indian nationals, including children, due to suffocation inside a hotel room in Daman today,” he said in a tweet, “I offer heartfelt condolences to the government and people of India and to the bereaved families.

Eight Indian tourists were found unconscious at Everest Panorama Resort based at Daman in Thaha Municipality in Makawanpur district on Tuesday morning. They passed away in the course treatment at Hams Hospital, Dhumbarahi.
