11 fatalities take Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll to 137

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 137 as of Friday afternoon after 11 more fatalities reported in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing this afternoon, Spokesperson at the Ministry Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that one each from Morang, Bara, Parsa, Saptari, Sarlahi, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Dolakha and Pyuthan have succumbed to the coronavirus.

The deceased include one woman and 10 men.

Nepal confirmed 838 new cases in the last 24 hours that took the national tally to 30,483.

Meanwhile, 250 have recovered across the country so far. As many as 18,214 have been discharged from hospitals and isolation centers in the last 24 hours, he shared.
