APF reaches at Pillar No. 1 of Kalapani for the first time

KATHMANDU: First time in its history, a team of Armed Police Force (APF) reached the Pillar No. 1 at Kalapani border.

A team deployed from the recently-established Changur Border Out Post (BOP) reached the Pillar No. 1 in Kalapani.

Earlier, a team of the APF used to patrol around the Changur Border Out Post area.

The team reached the border area after the visit of IGP of the Armed Police Force Shailendra Khanal and Chief of Army Staffs Purnachandra Thapa to Changur on June 17.

The Pillar No. 1 in Kalapani is about 30 kilometers from Changur.

Security vigilance has been taken with special interest after the government officially released the updated map of Nepal, including Limpiyadhura.
