Maitidevi area sealed after finding one COVID-19 case

KATHMANDU: Maitidevi area of Kathmandu has been sealed off after a person staying there was found to be infected with coronavirus.

The police have sealed Maitidevi area after a person originally from Khadadevi-4 of Ramechhap district tested positive. He had been living with his twin sibling in Maitidevi.

The younger brother has been kept in home quarantine.

According to the police, the man had returned from Ramechhap on May 12. His PCR test was carried out on May 15.

The infected person is undergoing treatment in the isolation of Teku-based Shukraraj Hospital.
