International Cultural Fair to be held



KATHMANDU: The Everest Nepal Cultural Group is set to organize the ’10th International Folk Cultural Fair-2020′ in various cities from February 28 to March 8 to promote the Visit Nepal Year 2020.

The main theme of the Fair is ‘Welcome of the tourists, artists – basis for Nepali folk culture’.

Organizing a press conference in Kathmandu today, the organizer said that over 250 artists belonging to diverse cultural groups would land in Kathmandu from Bangladesh, Estonia, Denmark, Sri Lanka, India, Israel, Malaysia and other countries.

Coordinator Ramchandra Koirala informed that the cultural teams would perform the respective countries’ music, folksongs, and folk dance.

The fairs will be organized in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Pokhara and other cities.
