Cabinet decides to deport three foreigners for illegal stay

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to deport three foreigners who have been living in Nepal illegally for a long time.

A recent cabinet meeting has decided to deport Australian citizen Mark Leslie Dengate from Nepal by waiving the delay fee of USD 12,730 and a maximum fine of Rs 50,000.

Similarly, the government has decided to deport two Yemeni citizens—Mohammed Esmail Ahmed Obadi and Naseem Esmail Ahmed Obadi—by waiving a delay fee and fine.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers on the proposal of the Home Ministry.
