KATHMANDU: Amid the mounting tension in the party, executive chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Puspa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda’ has called General Secretary Bishnu Paudel and NCP Secretariat Member Ishwar Pokhrel to Dhumbarahi on Friday.
According to the NCP sources, Prachanda has called the secretariat members duo Paudel and Pokhrel to discuss the prospective measures to bridge the widening rift in the party.
General Secretary Paudel and leader Pokhrel are known as the leaders close to Prime Minister and Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
After meeting with Prachanda, Paudel commented that the conflict in NCP has reached a critical mode.
In the meantime, Prachanda is said to have responded to the crisis as critical but not totally insoluble.
Earlier, Wedenesday’s Secretariat meeting of the NCP had decided to postpone the meeting for 10 days to let party Chairman and Prime Minister Oli to come out with his answer related to the allegations made in the dossier prepared by another Chairman Prachanda.
