KATHMANDU: A person doing time in a police custody has committed suicide in police custody in Banke.
According to District Police Office, Banke, Babu Lal Raidas, who was taken into custody on the charge of ‘indecent demeanor’, committed suicide this morning.
Originally from Banke, Raidas was in police custody and the police were carrying out investigation on him.
Raidas committed suicide in the custody at 5.30 am today.
