Prohibitory order issued in Palpa from Thursday midnight



PALPA: The local administration in Palpa district has issued prohibitory order in the district effective from August 20 midnight to August 28 midnight in a bid to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.

CDO of Palpa Ramesh Neupane shared that the prohibitory order was put in place in the wake of the rising cases of the deadly infection in the district.

The vehicles and persons providing essential services and supplies such as fire brigade, ambulance and vehicles carrying food items among others would be allowed to operate during this period, according to CDO Neupane.

Furthermore, the offices of security agencies, health, communication, drinking water and electricity among others would remain open. The pharmacies and grocery shops would be allowed to open from 7 am to 10 am during this period, informed CDO Neupane.
