Prohibitory order in Kailali from Thursday midnight 



KAILALI: A prohibitory order has been issued in Kailali with effect from Thursday midnight following a sharp rise in coronavirus cases.

Information Officer at the District Administration Office, Kailali, Shivaraj Joshi, said the order will be enforced until August 30.

Chief District Officer Yagya Raj Bohara issued the order as per the Infectious Diseases Act, 2020 BS and the Local Administration Act, 2028 BS.

A meeting of the District Crisis Management Committee chaired by Chief District Officer Bohara, has banned the movement of vehicles other than carrying essential items, health workers and security personnel.

During the period, it is also prohibited to go out from the house except for the purchase of medicines, food items and other essentials.
