Six succumb to COVID-19, death toll hits 126



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s death toll from the coronavirus has reached 126 as of Thursday afternoon after six deaths reported in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing this afternoon, Spokesperson at the Ministry Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that one woman from Kathmandu, one man from Makwanpur, one man from Saptari and one woman and two men from Saptari have died of the coronavirus.

Nepal confirmed 707 new cases in the last 24 hours that took the national tally to 29,645,

Meanwhile, 264 have recovered across the country so far. As many as 17,964 have been discharged from hospitals and isolation centers in the last 24 hours, he shared.
