COVID-19 infection re-emerges in S. Korea

SEOUL: The second wave of coronavirus infection has been spotted in South Korea, a lucrative destination for Nepali migrant workers. In South Korea, the total number of infected individuals reached 15,760 plus.

Almost contained in the early months of this year, the pandemic virus has now spread in the capital city of Seoul, Incheon and the adjoining region.

The public health experts have warned the authorities that the infection could go out of control.

It is said that just sealing off a single city was not sufficient to contain the re-emergence of the pandemic coronavirus.

Currently, the government in South Korea has restricted the entire activities in churches while physical distancing is mandatory in the public places.
