Administrative Officer of Godavari Municipality nabbed with bribe



KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has handcuffed tow including the Chief Administrative Officer of Godavari Municipality with 150 thousand rupees received as bribe on Monday.

According to CIAA spokesperson Tara Nath Adhikari, the Chief Administrative Officer Krishna Prasad Jaisi and Sub-engineer Kishor Moktan have been arrested with the bribe money.

Adhikari informed that the nabbed duo had asked the kickback to approve the payment for the construction works carried out in the Municipality.
