Prohibitory order imposed on Bara’s Devtal rural municipaltiy



KATHMANDU: District Administration Office, Bara has imposed a prohibitory order on Devtal rural municipality of Bara district after the number of infection cases increased in an alarming rate.

Chief District Officer of Bara, Rudra Prasad Pandit, on Monday issued the order to shut down all the services being provided by the rural municipality office and ward offices including the prohibition of vehicles entering the rural municipality until further notice.

Similarly, markets, shops, and other religious and cultural activities, including wedding ceremonies have been prohibited until further notice.

Ambulances, and those vehicles carrying daily essential commodities including medicine, cooking gas, milk and petrol will, however, be operated, according to the District Administration Office.

The administration has issued a restriction order after the 46 people, including 11 women, were confirmed to have infected with coronavirus.
