KATHMANDU: Two minors have drowned in a pond in Bajhang district.
The deceased have been identified as nine-year-old Shobhan Rokaya and eight year-old Sarjan Rokaya of Tallokot rural municipality-3.
They drowned in the pond built for irrigation on Sunday night. Locals had rescued them in an unconscious state.
They had died while being rushed to the hospital, said DSP Ganesh Bam of District Police Office, Bajhang.
