Answering to questions raised by lawmakers in the parliament on Tuesday, Prime Minister Oli said, “Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Lipu Lekh are parts of Nepal and we will get them back at any cost.”

He further said that the government will hold talks at the diplomatic level with India and resolve the issue at the earliest. “We won’t let the issue die down,” PM said.

The govenrnment has included these issues in the government’s policies and plans not to earn chief popularity but to implement it, said Oli.

The government has already prepared the new map of Nepal including Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Lipu Lekh. The cabinet has already endorsed it and will be published soon, Oli added.

Prime Minister Oli said he will ask India whether it respects the motto ‘Satyameva Jayate’ (Truth triumphs), in its state emblem or the four-head lion figure.

He claimed that ultimately it is the truth that prevails.

PM Oli further said that he had talked with the Chinese side over the inauguration of the link road to Manasarovar using the Nepali territory.

The government’s policies and programs for the fiscal year 2020/21 will be presented in the parliament meeting for endorsement once the prime minister answers the questions raised by the lawmakers.

Similarly, Law Minister Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe will float a proposal seeking revival of some legal provisions and scrapping of some ordinances in the meeting, according to Dr Bharat Raj Gautam, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament.
