ISIS claims responsibility for blowing up 5 boats in Maldives

MALE: The Islamic State (IS) terrorist group has claimed the responsibility of blowing up five boats at the Mahibadhoo harbor in Maldives.

The IS has blown up five boats in Maldives when the whole world is combating the COVID-19 outbreak.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Mohamed Hameed of Maldives said at a press conference that the incident which took place Wednesday was a ‘deliberate act’.

Likewise, the intelligence group SITE has also confirmed the incident with its Director Rita Katz posting on social media that the ISIS has claimed responsibility for its first ever attack in Maldives.
