SEBON says stock market will not be closed



KATHMANDU: Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) today issued a notice saying that extra measures would be required to be taken by the transacting members of the stock market to prevent spread and contact with COVID-19.

SEBON has suggested measures such as using sanitizers, closing the screening room, using masks in the area of work, checking the temperature, etc.

A meeting of stakeholders, including board officials, representatives from the investors’ association and representatives from regulatory bodies decided to continue the stock market as usual.
