Westerly wind to cause snowfall, rain today



KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted snowfall and rain in the high hilly and mountainous areas in the western region of the country.

According to the met office, the weather will be generally cloudy in the western region along with eastern and central hilly regions and mainly fair in the rest of the country. Light rain is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly regions.

Similarly, the generally cloudy weather is expected throughout the country with chances of light rain at a few places of the hilly regions tonight.
