COVID-19 infection cases reach 102 in Kavre

KAVREPALANCHOWK: With five more cases on Wednesday, the number of coronavirus infection has reached 102 in Kavrepalanchowk district.

Three employees at Dhulikhel Hospital and two others from Banepa Municipality have tested positive for coronavirus today.

The COVID-19 prevention and control command post in the district said 16 persons, including six employees of the hospital had tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

The number of infection has been increasing in the district for some days.

Four persons got virus on Monday while five on Sunday, nine on Saturday and 10 on Friday.

With increasing cases of coronavirus, the people in the district are panicked.

Member secretary of the command post and Chief of District Health Office, Dr Narendra Jha, informed that among the infected ones, a woman and a man lost lives while 35 have returned home after complete recovery. Rest of them are receiving treatment at isolation centers.
