Parliamentary Secretariat rejects new logo, orders to redesign as per new map

KATHMANDU: The Office of the Parliamentary Secretariat has instructed the party assigned to prepare the logo for the parliamentarians to redesign the logo as per the new map of Nepal.

Issuing a press release on Wednesday, the Office of the Parliamentary Secretariat has notified that it has asked the group to redesign the logo.

According to the Secretariat, after discussion about the changes to be made in the logo in the concerned committees in the parliament, the Cottage and Small Industry Office, Lalitpur was assigned the task of designing and preparing 350 pin batch for the lawmakers.

“However, after finding some problems in the newly designed logo, we have sent the assigned party to redesign and prepare it again,” the Secretariat’s press release said.

Actually, the logo looked clumsy and wrong as well.

Although the Secretariat has claimed to have sent it for redesigning finding it faulty, it is believed that the decision was made taking into account the wide criticism in the media.
