KATHMANDU: The government has handed over a home to litterateur Jhamak Ghimire in Kathmandu on the occasion of her 40th birthday.

The government had some five years ago announced to construct a house in honor of litterateur Ghimire.

The three-storied building was developed in the land plot of Pashupati Area Development Trust at the investment of Rs 18 million.

Prime Minister’s spouse Radhika Shakya stated that ‘Jhamak Ghimire Literary Foundation’ was founded after learning about Ghimire’s status.
