KATHMANDU: The main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has urged to form an all-party committee for the distribution of relief.

A meeting held at the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha on Saturday urged for forming an all-party committee for the equal distribution of relief package for the needy people.

Similarly, the NC also came to a decision that the relief distribution is not fair and is based on partisan.

Krishna Prasad Paudel, the Chief Secretary at NC informed that the report has come from the districts that the distribution is not equal and fair, so NC decided to form the committee for equal distribution.

Likewise, the meeting also discussed the situation in which daily wagers have been forced to walk to their home and urged the government to manage those stranded on the road.

NC has also demanded with the government to make an arrangement to bring Nepalis back from abroad.
