SARLAHI: A health desk has been established at the District Administration Office here in order to carry out medical examination concerning the Coronavirus.
The health desk was established by the Bagmati Sewa Samaj Nepal. Chief of District Coordination Committee Sarlahi Methur Chaudhary inaugurated the health desk on Tuesday.
Chief District Officer Mohan Bahadur JC said the health desk is expected to be useful to the service recipients, who usually come in large numbers at the District Administration Office.
The health desk screens visitors to the CDO office and refers to the district hospital in case anyone is suspected with the virus.
Three health workers have been deputed at the desk. Meanwhile, 13 health desks have been established at various transit points with neighboring India.
The desk was established in joint collaboration with Indian authorities, the DAO Sarlahi said.
