NEA to cut power in some areas in capital until Saturday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has decided to cut power for eight hours in some parts of the capital until Saturday.

Birendra Chowk, Gandhi Mod, Hatti Danda, Force Park, and areas around Tribhunva International Airport will remain without power from 9 am to 4 pm, according to NEA.

The power will remain cut due to the up-gradation of Gothatar feeder under the Jorpati Distribution Center system.

Similarly, the power will remain cut in some places of Lalitpur on Thursday and Saturday for eight hours due to up-gradation of Patan Pharping feeder under the Pulchowk Distribution Center.

According to NEA, the power will remain cut in Chunnikhel, Chhampi, Salyantar, Itahiti, Kami Danda, Tikabhairab, Devichaur, Burungchuli from 10 am to 6 pm on Thursday and Saturday.
