India records 26,762 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

NEW DELHI: India recorded 26,762 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,977,834.

Currently, 312,961 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 9,520,044 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 144, 800-mark.

With 342 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 144,829, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
