Two more die of COVID-19 in Butwal and Pokhara

BUTWAL:  Two COVID-19 infected people have died in the course of treatment in Rupandehi and Syanga districts on Wednesday morning.

A 40-year-old man has died from COVID-19 in Rupandehi district.

The deceased has been identified as a 40-year-old man of Butwal Sub Metropolitan City-7, Rupandehi.

According to Lumbini Provincial Hospital, the patient who tested positive for COVID-19 on November 10 succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at 8 am today.

He had been hospitalized on November 11 after he complained of respiratory complications around a week ago.

Similarly, a 46-year-old man has died from COVID-19 in Putali Bazaar municipality-13 in Syangja district on Wednesday morning.

The patient who tested positive for coronavirus on November 10 succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at Pokhara Academy of Health Science this morning, said Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh.

With this, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 128 in Gandaki Pradesh.
