NISSAN LEAF Electric Vehicle set to launch in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Pioneer Moto Corp Pvt. Ltd, the authorized distributor of Nissan in Nepal has announced its plan to launch the Nissan Leaf in Nepal by early 2021.

The company had earlier postponed the launch of the most awaited EV, the Nissan Leaf in Nepal after the Government decided to hike the Excise duty of Electric Vehicles.

However, with the recent decision by the government to reduce the Excise duty, Pioneer Moto Corp is finally making preparations to launch Nissan Leaf by early 2021.

Nissan Leaf is the first Mass Marketed Electric Vehicle and also the Global Leader in the EV market.

It is the most advanced car in Nissan’s EV segment and has sold over 250000 units so far.

The first Nissan Leaf was launched in December 2010 in Japan and comes with advanced features and bold new look.

It has more horsepower and torque complimented with the most advanced technology. The car charges up to 80 percent in just 40 minutes.

It comes with the revolutionary e-Pedal technology which allows you to drive your car with single pedal.

The car will automatically decelerate when the accelerator pedal is released, implying reduced fatigue and enjoyable driving.
