Kathmandu Valley sees 205 fresh coronavirus cases

KATHMANDU: Proving itself the latest coronavirus hotspot, Kathmandu Valley has seen 205 cases on Tuesday.

According to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, there have been 138 new cases in Kathmandu district alone.

Similarly, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur witnessed 50 and 17 cases making the single day coronavirus tally 205 on Tuesday.

The Valley had seen 172 cases yesterday.

A total of 1,016 coronavirus positive cases were reported in the country in the last 24 hours taking the national count to 28,257 out of which there have been 114 deaths by the coronavirus.
