Bus carrying migrant workers overturns in West Bengal; 15 injured



JALPAIGURI: At least 15 migrants were injured when a bus on which they were travelling back to their homes during the coronavirus lockdown overturned in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri today.

The bus driver is absconding, police have said.

The migrant laborers working in a brick factory in Sahudangi were going to Cooch Behar in West Bengal when the accident happened.

The workers who sustained injuries include women and children have been admitted to a hospital in Dhupguri. (With inputs from Agencies)
