Ambassador Paudyal says he has not misused his position 



KATHMANDU: Nepali Ambassador to China Leela Mani Paudyal has said that he has not made any mistakes during his tenure that will make the leadership that assigned him to the post to regret.

Issuing a statement before leaving China after the government decided to recall him, Ambassador Paudyal claimed that his tenure was important from economic, social and political perspectives.

“I have not misused my position for personal benefits,” he asserted in the statement.

The statement has also detailed important works accomplished during his tenure.

A meeting of Council of Ministers had decided to recall Paudyal within 15 days and had picked former Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey to replace him.
