NA endorses proposals



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday endorsed a proposal seeking a consideration over the amendment to the ‘Evidence (Second Amendment) Bill, 2075 BS’ made by the House of Representatives (HoR).

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dr Shiva Maya Tumbahangphe had presented the proposal at the session.

Likewise, the NA session also endorsed a proposal seeking the re-endorsement of the Bill to amend some of Nepal’s laws related to education with the acceptance of the amendment to it made by the HoR.

Minister for Education, Science and Technology has tabled the bill before the meeting. The NA will meet at 1:00 pm on Thursday.
