33 tourists injured in bus-truck collision

CHITWAN: At least 33 tourists have been injured when a tourist bus — Ba 1 Pa 783 — and a truck — Lu 2 Kha 3305 — collided at Ramnagar of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 Friday morning.

The injured, some of them seriously, are receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan Medical College and Old Medical College, police said.

Of them, 21 are Chinese tourists. The ill-fated tourist bus was headed to Sauraha in Chitwan.
