NCP Gen Secy Paudel reaches Prachanda’s residence to convey PM Oli’s message

KATHMANDU: In what can be dubbed as an attempt to resolve the intra-party dispute, General Secretary of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bishnu Paudel reached Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda’s” residence at Khumaltar with Prime Minister KP Oli’s message.

In the meeting held this morning, Paudel is learnt to have conveyed PM Oli’s message to Dahal about resolving the dispute between the two Chairmen.

Paudel has already returned after the meeting with Dahal, party sources said.

The duo – Dahal and Paudel — is said to have discussed efforts to resolve the dispute between Oli and Dahal.

Dispute between PM Oli and Prachanda have reached a new height of late accusations on one another of inviting crisis in the party.

It should be noted that Prachanda had in Friday’s Secretariat meeting unilaterally presented a political report.

Friday’s meeting ended after setting an agenda for Wednesday’s Secretariat meeting.

Dahal, in his report, alleged PM Oli of being self-centric and a total failure in running the government as well as the party.

Meanwhile, earlier, PM Oli in a letter has come down heavily on Prachanda of promoting factionalism in the party.
