Govt decides to postpone rescue flights



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to postpone the rescue flights saying that it will be difficult to manage Nepalis returning from abroad in the respective districts.

According to a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) source, the rescue flight has been postponed due to various restrictions in more than 41 districts.

With the government’s decision to suspend rescue flights, rescue flights scheduled by various airlines have been canceled until further notice.

The flight has been postponed for less than a day since the start of the fifth phase of the rescue flight on Monday.
