Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 107



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s death toll from the coronavirus has reached 107 as of Monday afternoon after three deaths reported in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing this afternoon, Spokesperson at the Ministry Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that one each from Rautahat, Morang and Kathmandu have died of the coronavirus.

A total of 11 people have died of the coronavirus in Province 1, 46 in Province 2 and 19 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 13 in Province 5, four in Karnali Province and eight in Sudurpaschim Province so far.

Nepal confirmed 581 new cases in the last 24 hours that took the national tally to 27,241.

Meanwhile, as many as 17,495 have recovered across the country so far after 160 discharged from hospitals and isolation centers in the last 24 hours, he shared.
