16 including 11 cops test COVID-19 positive in Makwanpur



HETAUDA: Makwanpur has added 16 fresh cases to its coronavirus tally.

Test carried out at Vector-Borne Disease Investigation and Training Center confirmed in the infection in 16 people including 11 personnel of Nepal Police.

According to Isolation In-charge Bhola Chaulagain, two men from Rautahat, one from Sindhuli, two from Banke, one from Parsa, one from Dhading, one from Kanchanpur and three from Chitwan have contracted coronavirus.

Similarly, three women, one man from Hetauda-4 and one woman from Hetauda-10 have been infected, said Chaulagain.

With the new cases, the total number of infected people in Makwanpur has reached 187.
