BIRGUNJ: The Ministry of Health and Population has appointed Dr Sanjay Kumar Thakur as the new Medical Superintendent of Narayani Hospital in Birgunj, which has become a hotspot for coronavirus.
Thakur was working at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu.
Likewise, Dr Madan Kumar Upadhyaya, Medical Superintendent of the hospital has been transferred to the ministry.
Earlier, people had protested against the doctors at the Narayani Hospital for not treating the infected person.
