Gandaki Province confirms 22 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: A total of 22 more coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Gandaki Province on Friday afternoon.

According to the Gandaki Provincial Health Directorate, all the cases were confirmed in Lamjung district.

A total of six men aged 24, 24, 30, 35, 36, 57 years in Marshyangdi, four men aged 22, 21, 30, 32 years in Dordi, eight men aged 18, 21, 24, 27, 28, 30 and 20 years and a 19-month-old girl has been infected in Rainas.

Similarly, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in a 38-year-old man in Dudhpokhari, two men aged 32 and 43 years in Bensishahar and a 47-year-old man in Kwalasothar.

With the new cases, total cases in the province have reached 1,278.
