42 infected, 5000 quarantined in Kapilvastu

KAPILVASTU: As many as 5,000 persons are kept in coronavirus ‘red zone’ Kapilvastu district.

The district has reported 42 COVID-19 cases so far.

On Saturday, issuing a statement on Saturday morning, Joint Spokesperson Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari said that new cases had been reported in Kapilvastu district. Among those infected are men aged 25,34, and 44.

The new cases were confirmed after their swabs tested positive for coronavirus at Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Butwal. Their health condition is said to be normal.
